Wang Xuejin is a young researcher in the Hydrology Department of the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Lanzhou University. He is a master's supervisor and completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies at Lanzhou University (2012-2023). From 2021 to 2022, he participated in a joint training program at the Institute for Atmospheric and Environmental Research (KIT-IFU) in Karlsruhe, Germany. His research primarily focuses on the impacts of climate and land use changes on hydrological processes, land-atmosphere feedbacks, and moisture recycling processes, as well as regional climate and hydrological modeling. He participated in one key project and one surface project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China as a backbone. Wang has published over ten papers in renowned international journals, including Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, Journal of Hydrology, and Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, and has contributed to a book as a chapter author. He serves as a reviewer for journals such as Journal of Hydrology and Theoretical and Applied Climatology.
